Executive Forum
Company Treasurer and Managing Director, Finance, Administration, and Engineering Gerald L. Shawhan oversees the finance, human resources, legal, facilities, information technology systems, office services and purchasing functions of Cincom Systems. He also heads a significant portion of the company's engineering function. Originally a metallurgical engineer, Mr. Shawhan's career includes 22 years at the University of Cincinnati where he held a number of positions including Assistant Vice President of Business Affairs, Director of Institutional Research and Director of Campus Planning and Construction. He was also an Adjunct Associate Professor of Mathematics there. Mr. Shawhan came to Cincom Systems, Inc. in 1983 to be Treasurer and Group Executive and has been actively involved in the computer software industry ever since. Mr. Shawhan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Cincinnati. |
