Supporting Our Community

Cincom's foundation rests on the entrepreneurial spirit of its CEO Tom Nies. This same type of spirit has fueled and empowered many companies. Therefore, in order to "give forward" to the communities from which it operates, Cincom created the Cincom: Encouraging Entrepreneurship (CEE) Program.

Through the CEE initiative, Cincom joins forces with educational institutions and other non-profit organizations to support and encourage entrepreneurial activity throughout the world by donating software, services and resources to assist aspiring entrepreneurs, as well as providing mentoring and interning opportunities. Some of these programs are as follows:

  • The University Grant Program donates Cincom software to universities for educational study and real-world modeling. Recipients include Northern Kentucky University and the Ohio University College of Business.
  • Sponsorship of University MBA Plan Competitions where teams of master of business administration students from universities throughout the United States compete to win cash prizes.
  • Sponsorship of a "Center for the Study of the Presidency" Fellowship. The University of Cincinnati Fellowship is named for Cincom and Cincom CEO Tom Nies. The Center brings together experts from government, academia and the corporate world on key issues facing the Presidency.
